Trade Potential: A strong potential for trade and economic collaboration with the existing BRICS members is essential.
Resources and Development: Countries with rich natural resources and a commitment to development are often considered valuable additions.
Stability: A stable political and economic environment is crucial for sustaining the group’s cooperation.
Compatibility: The country’s goals and interests should align with those of the existing BRICS members.
It’s worth noting that BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) is a grouping of emerging economies that aim to enhance their cooperation and influence on the global stage.
The Tinubu-led Federal Government has disbanded the Secretariat of the Advertising Standard Panel (ASP) due to its endorsement of billboards labelled as an attempt to manipulate the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal with the message: ‘All Eyes on The Judiciary.’ The ASP, responsible for ensuring advertising compliance with laws and ethical standards, has been dissolved by the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), as stated by Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, ARCON’s Director-General. https://youtu.be/8KlOpAZrrtE?si=PbXhMxw4FeQWChrlhttps://youtu.be/8KlOpAZrrtE?si=PbXhMxw4FeQWChrl Fadolapo also mentioned the suspension of the Director and Deputy Director in charge of Regulations for investigation purposes. The controversial advertisements were criticized for discussing a matter pending before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal and potentially inciting public unrest. A committee will be established to probe the “erroneous approval” and violation of vetting guidelines, while the ASP Secretariat’s failure to perform its gatekeeping role has led to its dissolution.
French-speaking African nations face ongoing challenges resulting from 11 agreements signed post-independence. These pacts grant France significant control over various aspects of these nations’ economies, resources, and sovereignty. The agreements range from financial control and resource acquisition to military involvement and linguistic influence. As awareness grows, a new generation seeks to rectify these arrangements for a more equitable future.”
MALI HAS JUST DEFINITIVELY PUT AN END TO ITS DEPENDENCE ON FRANCE BY CANCELING THE 11 COLONIAL AGREEMENTS IMPOSED ON AFRICAN COUNTRIES SINCE 1960.
BREAKING OF THE COLONIAL AGREEMENTS WITH FRANCE. I INVITE YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE MALIAN CASE AGAINST IMPERIALIST FRANCE🇫🇷
After independence, 14 French-speaking countries signed 11 agreements with France which are as follows :
AGREEMENT n⁰1:
THE COLONIAL DEBT TO REPAY THE BENEFITS OF COLONIZATION.
That is to say that the newly independent states must reimburse the cost of the infrastructures built by France during the colonization. We are always looking for the details of the costs, the evaluation of the benefits and the payment conditions imposed by France on African countries.
AGREEMENT N⁰ 2 :
THE AUTOMATIC CONFISCATION OF NATIONAL FINANCIAL RESERVES.
That is to say that African countries must deposit their financial reserves with the Banque de France. Thus, France has been “guarding” the financial reserves of fourteen African countries since 1961: Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Thus, the governance of monetary policies remains asynchronous and incomplete because it is managed directly by the French government, without any link with the financial authorities of countries such as ECOWAS or CEMAC.
Thus, due to the conditions that bind the banks of the 14 countries of the CFA economic and financial zones, they are obliged to keep 65% of their foreign exchange reserves in an operations account maintained by the French Treasury, as well as an additional 20% to cover “financial risks”.
In addition, the banks of the CFA zones impose a credit limit on each member country, equivalent to 20% of state revenues in the current budget year, although the BEAC or the BCEAO have higher withdrawal possibilities from the French Treasury. These withdrawals must first be the subject of the agreement of the French Treasury. The final decision, therefore rests with the French Treasury, which has itself invested the reserves of African countries on the Paris stock exchange.
In other words, 85% of African financial reserves are deposited in an operation account controlled by the French administration.
The two banks in the CFA zone are African by their names but do not decide any of the monetary policies by themselves. The worst thing is that the countries themselves do not even know how much of their financial reserves are due to them.
AGREEMENT n⁰3 :
THE RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL ON ANY RAW OR NATURAL RESOURCE DISCOVERED IN THE COUNTRY.
That is to say that France has the first right to purchase the natural resources of the land of its former colonies. It is only after France has said: “I am not interested”, that African countries are allowed to look for other partners.
AGREEMENT n⁰4 :
PRIORITY TO FRENCH INTERESTS AND COMPANIES IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AND PUBLIC TENDERS.
In the awarding of public contracts, French companies have priority over tenders. Even if African countries can get better value for money elsewhere.
As a result, in most of the former French colonies, all the economic levers of the countries are in the hands of French expatriates. In Côte d’Ivoire, for example, French companies own and control all major public services including water, electricity, telephone, air transport, ports and major banks. It is the same in trade, construction and agriculture.
AGREEMENT n⁰5 :
EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO PROVIDE MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND TRAIN MILITARY OFFICERS OF THE COLONIES.
Thanks to a sophisticated system of scholarships, grants, and the “defence agreements” attached to the colonial pact, Africans must send their senior officers for training in France and are obliged to provide themselves with military equipment in France.
AGREEMENT n⁰6 :
THE RIGHT FOR FRANCE TO DEPLOY TROOPS AND INTERVENE MILITARILY IN THE COUNTRY TO DEFEND ITS INTERESTS.
Under the so-called “defence agreements” attached to the colonial pact, France has the right to intervene militarily in African countries, and also to permanently station troops in military bases and installations, entirely managed by the French.
AGREEMENT n⁰7 :
THE OBLIGATION TO MAKE FRENCH THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THE COUNTRY AND THE LANGUAGE FOR EDUCATION.
An organization for the French language and the dissemination of French culture has even been created. It is called the “Francophonie” and has several satellite organizations. These organizations are affiliated to and controlled by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs.
AGREEMENT n⁰8 :
THE OBLIGATION TO USE THE CFA FRANC (FRANC OF THE FRENCH COLONIES IN AFRICA).*
Although this system is not shared by the European Union, the French colonies are forced to use the FCFA exclusively.
AGREEMENT n⁰9 :
THE OBLIGATION TO SEND TO FRANCE, AN ANNUAL BALANCE SHEET AND A REPORT ON THE STATE OF RESERVES. NO REPORT, NO MONEY.
That is to say that the director of the central banks of the former colonies presents the said report at the annual meetings of the Ministers of Finance in the former colonies. This report is then compiled by the Banque de France and the French Treasury.
AGREEMENT n⁰10 :
RENOUNCE ANY MILITARY ALLIANCE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES, UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY FRANCE.
Most of these countries only have military alliances with their ex-colonizers simply because France forbade them from any other military alliance.
AGREEMENT n⁰11 :
THE OBLIGATION TO ALLY WITH FRANCE IN THE EVENT OF WAR OR A GLOBAL CRISIS.
More than a million African soldiers fought for the defeat of Nazism and fascism during the Second World War. Now that France is militarily linked to the European Union, NATO and the United States, Africa will de facto be committed to the side of France in the event of the 3rd World War.
Dear fellow Africans, eleven (11) agreements are still in force between France and the 14 countries of the CFA zone, and no French media or their so-called African specialists will ever talk about these sinister agreements that have been imposed on the African countries of the CFA zone.
Dear compatriots, that is why we do not stop denouncing this colonization which has now been practised since 1960, by interposed persons, that is to say by leaders of their choices whom they support and whom they protect by imposing dictatorship on them in front of their peoples.
What interests us today among these eleven agreements is the tenth (n⁰ 10) which says that the 14 countries of the CFA zone through the agreement, are not authorized to have a military alliance with other countries and are also not authorized to buy military equipment in another European country without the authorization of France, that is why Mali has been blocked until today. But the situation has been unblocked, Mali can now freely cooperate with all the countries of the planet without asking France for permission.
DEAR COMPATRIOTS, GIVEN ALL THESE MORAL, PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SCAMS, THE NEW AFRICAN GENERATION MUST DO ITS PART TO RESTORE THE NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR CONTINENT TO LEAVE A WORTHY LEGACY TO FUTURE GENERATIONS.
BREAKING: ECOWAS Orders Immediate Military Action Against Niger Junta The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has directed its standby force to act to reinstate constitutional order in the Niger Republic. The President of ECOWAS, Omar Alieu Touray, announced this decision while presenting the ECOWAS resolution regarding the recent coup in Niger during an extraordinary meeting held in Abuja on Thursday. In addition to the call for action, ECOWAS has also appealed to the African Union (AU), partner countries, and relevant institutions to rally behind the resolution set forth by the sub-regional body. ECOWAS expressed its disappointment as all attempts to engage in dialogue with the military junta in Niger have been consistently rebuffed by the leaders of the coup. Furthermore, ECOWAS strongly condemned the ongoing detention of President Mohamed Bazoum and his family members, deeming it unacceptable. The resolution reads “the Authority has considered the memorandum presented by the President of the ECOWAS commission on the current situation in the Republic of Niger, as well as ECOWAS engagement since the last extraordinary summit; “and having considered the reports of the envoys of the chair, to Niger and various other places; “Carefully considered the report and recommendations of the ECOWAS committee of chiefs of defence staff; “Extensively discussed the latest development in Niger since the last extraordinary Summit held on 30th July 2023. “Noted that all diplomatic efforts made by ECOWAS, in resolving the crisis have been repelled by the military leadership of the Republic of Niger; “The taking note of the expiration of the one-week ultimatum given for the restoration of constitutional order in the Republic of Niger decide as follows: “Reiterates its strong condemnation of the attempted coup d’etat and the continued illegal detention of President Mohammed Bazoam, his family and members of his government. “Further condemns the condition in which President Bazoum is being detained and holds the CNSP fully and solely responsible for the safety, security and physical integrity of President Bazoum, members of his family and government. “Uphold all measures and principles agreed upon by the extraordinary Summit held in Niger on 30th July 2023. “Underscore the determination of the ECOWAS authority to keep all options on the table for the peaceful resolution of the crisis. “Enforce all measures, in particular, border closures and strict travel bans and assets freeze on all persons or groups of individuals whose actions hinder all peaceful efforts aimed at ensuring the smooth and complete restoration of constitutional order. “Warn member states who, by their action, directly or indirectly, hindered the peaceful resolution of the crisis in Niger about the consequences of their action before the community. “Call on the African Union to endorse all the decisions taken by the ECOWAS authority on the situation in Niger. “Further call on all partner countries and institutions including the United Nations to support ECOWAS, in its effort to ensure a quick restoration of constitutional order, in conformity with its normative instruments. “Direct the President of the Commission to monitor the implementation of the sanctions. “Direct the Committee of the Chief of Defence staff to activate the ECOWAS standby force with all its elements immediately. “Order the deployment of the ECOWAS standby force to restore constitutional order in the Republic of Niger. “Underscore its continued commitment to the restoration of constitutional order through peaceful means.” (Leadership)
“ECOWAS Authorizes Military Action to Restore Constitutional Order in Niger”
My lords, Nigerians watched the events at the PEPT with keen interest & with cautious optimism. Now I’m moved to appeal to your consciences via this medium. My hope is that justice will be done, & seen to be done.
FOR THE GLORY OF NIGERIA! 🇳🇬
They say we can’t win. They say our case is unwinnable, that we are chasing a cockamamie case. But they are wrong, so wrong! We are chasing a precedent because the law is wrong. People should not be inaugurated when others are in court. But here we are, fighting one day at a time.
Laws are meant for human beings, they should not be an obstacle to our children’s aspirations. Nigerians are asking you to set a new precedent, as Judges have done before (when a law is outdated). The purpose of the law is not to protect the corrupt, nor to discriminate against the politicians.
The law is made to protect the GUIDING PRINCIPLES of a nation, without which a nation is doomed. Please, “fix the laws that are most in line with the intents of the Constitution. Help Nigerians equally! Give every Nigerian a fighting chance.”
My Lords, “Nigerians are not asking you to change the country. Look around you; Nigeria is already changing without any court’s permission!” We are simply asking you to protect the Right of Nigeria to Change, & to Choose. Change is constant. The right to choose is their inalienable rights.
Laws cannot change until minds are changed. So reach out to your neighbors & groups. Talk to your church members. Educate them on: Civil Rights, Protection Rights, Voting Rights, Equality, Equity, Morality, Justice & Equal Citizenship. Teach them these new ways of thinking.
Let them know that your Darling Nigeria can change, & will change. “For the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge. But time & chance happen to them all.” TIME & CHANCE!
NIGERIA IS CHANGING, & Nigerians must stay together. Time & chance will happen to them all. It took a 100 years for a “Radical Social Change” to happen. My lords, “you are being urged to protect the cultures & the traditions, the morality of a Nigeria that may no longer exist.”
Those are the legacies that Nigerians are urging you to uphold. 24 years ago, it would have been unimaginable that a certain underdog called Peter Obi, could aspire to the highest office in the land. 44 years ago, the notion of “Soro Soke” would have been a taboo; unheard of.
A 100 years ago? a black man would not have the right to stand for the Office of the President of the United States. He won’t have the Right to his Freedom, & to Choose. It is called PRECEDENT. They were set so that future Generations (my Generation) will have a fighting chance.
Nigerians are bared by Limitations of the Law, bared from opportunities based on assumptions of their abilities. “How can they ever disprove these assumptions, if the law sets boobytraps everywhere?” My lords, “it’s open season on criminality!”
What is at stake is the Nigerian Family; the fabric of what makes us a United Nation. So as you give those judgements, remember the young. NIGERIA BELONG TO THEM! Nigeria forgot The Young. It is time the judges got back in the fight. ✊
If Justice is applied in Nigeria, then Bola Tinubu will be removed. If Justice comes down on election riggers, Professor Mahmood Yakubu would be in jail. My lords, you can set the precedent that can will get Nigeria started, you can right this wrong!
When you do so? you bear witness in Heaven & on earth, you give back to Nigerians, their long-lost voices. 2023 is a marathon not a sprint. Again, I urge you Nigerians, don’t give the fight. Posterity is with you. The world is with you. All the Heavens hear you.

SO, the UN has just given ECOWAS the Green Light to intervene militarily in Niger Republic, if within One Week, the new military administration in that country does not restore presidential power to the ousted former president. And as I had anticipated, Burkina Faso and Mali have jointly warned that any attack on Niger will be deemed an attack on Mali & Burkina Faso and they will respond in any way they deem fit.
Now let’s unpack this. These emerging new military leaders on the west African coast are all allied to Russia, including CAR (Central African Republic) and one or two others. They’re not just allied by mouth. They have Russian military machine behind them. And that machine is as brutal as can get. You know this machine…It’s called Wagner PMC. Even the west admitted Wagner is the world’s most powerful private military contractor as of today. We see what they’ve done in Ukraine – to the point of becoming the first private military contractor to engage entire nations in Bahkmut for months and eventually won. Isn’t that why everyone who hated Russia cheered when they attempted to topple Putin’s regime in that failed, joke of a coup attempt? People, especially westerners actually believed they could do it because of their antecedents. That’s how powerful these guys are. That’s why they helped remove regimes in many African countries and they stay back to protect those regimes they helped bring to power.
Look at Sudan. That’s a British price. The British were not ready to let go easily, so they engaged the Wagner-leaning forces, probably hoping it’d be over in a little bit. Months later, those guys have continued to gain grounds, last I checked. In the same manner that Europeans are evacuating citizens from Niger right now, they evacuated from Sudan as well…and what that means is a full scale war is coming. But that war in Sudan still rages. That’s an African Union-centric war. It hasn’t gone any way.
My question now is, how well can ECOWAS and the UN do in this potential war against Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, which of course is an extension of the war between Russia and the west, if you have followed this write up and my previous ones from the beginning? I mean, if they haven’t won the war in Ukraine, if they haven’t made any significant progress in Sudan (which is another Russia/west war), how much progress will they make here, given that these three nations and all their resources will now jointly be aimed at the UN-backed ECOWAS forces plus the Russian-Wagner fire force that hasn’t yet been defeated anywhere?
And going by my recent video, imagine when these countries decide to start targeting each of the ECOWAS countries involved in the attack, especially Nigeria that’s today heading the ECOWAS bloc.
I have a strong feeling that West AFRICA is about to be set on fire and my concern is very very deep. And the sad thing too is, it doesn’t look like there’s any way out, because if France doesn’t instigate this, it will loose more territories and it’s citizens who depend solely on African resources will continue to be impoverished and more riots will show up in France. And not just that, other African countries whose leaders are still loyal to the colonials may go the way of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger in no time, which is a real concern for these leaders. On the other hand, if they go ahead with the military intervention, the repercussions could be greater than anyone can ever imagine, and for some reason, I feel like they’d prefer the later – despite the huge potentiality for an egregiously cataclysmic outcome. After all, it’ll be AFRICA against Africa – for non-Africans. So, Bottomline, I think war is coming. Question is, how prepared are we? Because it’ll likely spread beyond those three countries – Niger, Mali & Burkina Faso. And when or if it does come, remember that this is a continuation of the war between Russia & the west fought on African soil in the bloody quest for a #MultiPolar world.
The current military and political mood in the Sahel region countries is anti-France (as colonial enemy), anti-West and anti-democracy. The recent withdrawal of the French and the UN Peacekeeping force should also be brought under scrutiny. No doubt, the withdrawal of peacekeeping forces in Mali and recent coup in Niger would downgrade human security of the Sahel region. All these crises have been paving the way for Russia and China to make tricky entry into the region. Interestingly, the coup in Niger occurred at such a time when Russia has been hosting a summit of African leaders at St Petersburg. The military takeover incidents in the Sahel region will be an opportunity for Russia to show the international stakeholders that it has significant military and political leverage to spread influence in Africa. The restoration of democracy and the rule of law in the Sahel region, at present, is now appearing as a distant foghorn!
